Vision Vaccination – Part 1

In Liberty Leadership Blog, Self Leadership, Vision

Have you ever been walking through your home late in the evening and suddenly there is a power failure? Everything goes pitch dark, and if it is a power outage in your neighbourhood on a cloudy dark night .. there is zero visibility. Suddenly you find yourself fumbling around for familiarity in the confusion and disorientation. Your entire demeanour changes from one of confidently walking to the kitchen for a glass of water to tentatively measuring each move and hesitantly taking each step with the utmost caution.

What changed?

Your VISION was lost!

Proverbs. 29:18 says, “Where there is no VISION / revelation / prophetic vision, the people cast off restraint / live chaotic lives / abandon themselves to chance & fate.

Vision is vital to our ability to tap into God’s plan, promises and purposes for our life. Vision also catalyzes FAITH and faith pleases God (Hebrews 11:6). Faith finds its SUBSTANCE and EVIDENCE for an ‘unseen’ future, in God’s word. (Hebrews 11:1)

When we hitch ourselves to God’s preferred intention .. VISION .. we move from fatalism, chaos and chance towards a focused pursuit of God’s promised future for our lives. This not only enormously injects meaning and motivation into our thinking, feeling and choices but positions us to inspire those we love around us to live a LARGER life for God’s glory!

I believe it is time.. right now.. in this season to re-invigorate your vision.. to wait on God and fight FOR a WORD, a PROMISE a VISION, for what’s left of the rest of your one and only life. Then live boldly FROM that WORD, that VISION, to possess all God has for you and become all God designed you to be!

Faith will vaccinate your fears because the same uncertainties that FEAR and FAITH ensure you.. namely that what you can’t see may become a reality .. elicits ingenuity, anticipation and resolve within you. The only difference being that FAITH has a sure outcome because it is based on the EVIDENCE of God’s eternal WORD!

ACTION:

  • Carve out some time to list your most dominate and recurring fears and anxieties.
  • Write down what you believe is God’s will and VISION for your life in the next 5 years.
  • Ask how can you grow in your FAITH to pursue God’s vision for your life and make VISION your prevailing focus in negating nagging fears!

Thank you so much for this new way of spreading the Word of God.

During this lockdown I Think many people has got lost in caring for themselves instead of Focus on God, He is our Master and has got Control over us all.

He saved us and died on the Cross for all of us, and still we sin. We sin by not having Faith in Him and to put Him first in our lives.

For me, It was time where I spend a lot of time in my Flat, all alone and on my own, getting depressed although that was not a word that I ever thought would come onto myself. Then I Said to myself, Focus Chrissie, God is in Control.

Thank you for all the hard word, keeping us all, contstantly Sunday by Sunday, focused on the Live FB messages.

Stay Blessed and I love you, All the pastors, and Liberty Church for keeping me close to Gods feet.

Stay Blessed in the Name of the Almighte God.

Can’t wait for Church to get back to normal again.

    Warm Regards
    Chrissie
